The Official History

Four years ago, when the first
issue was being put together using a 386 laptop, pagemaker 3, a portable
bubblejet and a photocopier, we knew one thing for certian; that we would
provide an alternative medium of expression for creative individuals. It
was to be an alternative subculture hidden within an oppressive and controlling
institution. 

The time was 1993, and the place was a little town in Alberta, Canada.
And in this town there was an institution that had grown very old with time.
It had become stagnant over the years with a shrinking tollerance for outside
influence, or room for creativity within. Tension was growing, and freedom
awakening...
